You are an ISTJ!

As an ISTJ, you are Intraverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging.
This makes your primary focus on Introverted Sensing with Extraverted Thinking.

This is defined as a SJ personality, which is part of Carl Jung's Guardian (Security Seeking) type, and more specifically the Inspectors or Duty Fufiller.

As a weblogger, you may will have a dependable form of posting. You may be more likely to be judgementatal toward others who aren't as dependable. You may get taken advantage of in group situations because you are known as not being able to say no. Because of your respect for facts and information, you may need multiple blogs to keep all of the information sorted in your head.

This is Who I Am!

Leave your information so others can read webpages of people with similar personality types!
I'm an ISTJ and it fits me to a T! I definitely know why they call us Inspectors - I've got the critical eye. But I'm also very dependable and consistant in my blogging, and that's an ISTJ trait all the way!
kristine on June 1, 2002 09:00 PM
I'm an ISTJ as well, and it fits me perfectly. I hate confrontation, so it's very rare that I ever put my foot down telling somebody I won't do a certain job. I also feel bad if I don't post at least once a day.
Cori on June 5, 2002 07:31 AM
How is that for on the money? Sometimes I think I have too many blogs to keep everything straight (and I always want to create more!). :)
Lynda on June 5, 2002 07:34 AM
ISTJ. Mostly me. But "You may get taken advantage of in group situations because you are known as not being able to say no." is definitely NOT me! Fun little quiz, thanks Kristine.
Dara on June 5, 2002 09:59 AM
Yup. That's me. All the way. Organized, thorough, must think before I do anything, including write most posts.
cheryl on June 5, 2002 08:12 PM
ISTJ, um, ya
petefasa on June 6, 2002 08:43 AM
This is me. I can't do most things without a carefully planned list to guide me.
Shannon on June 6, 2002 08:45 AM
Wow! This describes me so well it's scary! Just a few questions and they are able to sum up your life! Too cool!
Maria on June 6, 2002 04:50 PM
Wow... pretty accurate and only four questions. My type of quiz! :)
jaya on June 7, 2002 07:49 AM
absolutely. And a Libra to boot!
Jennifer on June 7, 2002 11:47 AM
This is pretty accurate. It even explained some things about myself that I didn't understand. It's strange that such a short test can lay bare your personality so completely.
Talia on June 7, 2002 01:03 PM
that's fairly accurate..
Jade on June 7, 2002 07:27 PM
Very accurate.
Jennifer on June 7, 2002 11:13 PM
i think everything in the description fit me very well, except for the part about "you are known as not being able to say no." it is true, i *used* to be that way, but i have learned to set limits on other people's demands.
christine on June 10, 2002 11:25 AM
This is SO me! I've finally reached the point where I'm learning to say "no", but I think I'm becoming more of a perfectionist than ever.
leslie on June 11, 2002 04:32 PM
Fits me. I don't like to be a judging person, but I really am...
BinaryJesus on June 21, 2002 06:01 PM
yeah this is me. the test was difficult though as there tended to be a bit of me in both options
sarah on June 28, 2002 10:24 AM
Supposedly I'm an ISTJ, but I'm also a Gemini which means that I happen to be an ISTJ only about half of the time!
maggiesonic on July 6, 2002 07:34 AM
Some parts of this described me really well and I have to say that overall I definitely recognized myself in some of the descriptions of the ISTJ type :)
Al-Muhajabah on July 25, 2002 09:45 AM
Yep. ISTJ, Type-A, DC. Doesn't really matter the test I always come up the same. I only have one blog though, but way too many categories.. :)
medic119 on August 3, 2002 11:57 AM
yeah that's pretty much me with a few exceptions...
tiff on August 3, 2002 07:48 PM
"You may get taken advantage of in group situations because you are known as not being able to say no. " THIS IS SO TRUE ABOUT MEH =P heheh.. i don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.. hmmm *?*
yen on August 14, 2002 02:57 PM
Pretty accurate, except for the multiple blogs part.
John T. Hill on September 3, 2002 10:00 AM
No doubt I am an ISTJ. I can't do anythnig before setting up plans in order to do something. Concerning saying " no" to others as the text shows, it is an understatement. If one thing is not convenient for me to do, I just simply reject or deny it to whoever it is no matter the circumstance.
Wellington on September 4, 2002 12:12 PM
My mom keeps on joking that I'm so punctual, I was born on the very day that the doctor predicted I would. Now I frustrate people I know with my punctuality. :)
JM on September 14, 2002 10:51 PM
accurate. I do hate admitting that I always have a 'to-do' list in my head or in paper though.
Anita on September 25, 2002 09:05 AM
wew ... very accurate for me ^^;
kikie on September 26, 2002 07:03 AM
I don't know if I agree with the judgmental part, or the part about needing more than one blog, but the rest is pretty accurate... continually getting dumped/dumped on.
mlnjr on September 28, 2002 11:16 PM
I don't let my friends take advantage of me. I'm known as the independent one. And one blog is certainly enough for me. :)
Prinny on September 30, 2002 10:42 AM
Pretty much me, except I can say no & only need one blog. ooh hoo. I took a test like this for school the other day & got itsj also. wowie.
Katrina on October 7, 2002 05:46 PM
I am ALWAYS an ISTJ on these tests. Bang on!
itsy on October 14, 2002 08:35 PM
Wow! What a good description. Amazing :)
Jevon on October 15, 2002 06:21 AM
Actually, that sounds reasonably accurate, except I don't need multiple blgs - I use Post-It notes!!! :)
Stuart on October 15, 2002 09:38 AM
Any of these traits are subject to the situation, and my mood at the time which dictate the degree of accuracy to this personality result. There goes my judgement of this thing! :D
wyteopal on October 25, 2002 06:38 AM
I am a very strong istj except that I also have a pretty good intuitive side.
sam on November 8, 2002 10:35 PM
That's me at heart but ADD throws the dependability and organized parts out of wack.
Manda on November 23, 2002 08:56 AM
It's all true! I love the MBTI and this is a really cool site!
Jan on November 24, 2002 07:59 AM
If it came any closer to fitting, I'd be worried that you were spying on me. :)
dalani on November 27, 2002 04:47 AM
This test may say that Im an ISTJ...but I will need to analyze it a bit further...make sure it's correct...double check those facts...and I will get back to you! :)
amit on December 4, 2002 06:41 PM
I'm an ISTJ! Actually, I took this similar type of personality quiz in high school, and I think I came up with Intraverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging also. I don't remember for sure. But yes, it fits me well. I was answering the questions and the one I clicked was always completely describing my style.
Julie *Cookies* on December 6, 2002 10:47 PM
That sounds about right to me!
Mel on December 7, 2002 12:10 AM
Interesting...this describes me more in life than my blogging habits, but that could be due to the nature of my blog.
rhiannon on December 9, 2002 09:02 AM
mostly true.
jadedfem on December 11, 2002 05:02 AM
ISTJ -- That sounds right. What else would a Virgo be?
Fabienne on December 20, 2002 08:27 PM
I am meticulous and like drawing plans.
Kai Jie, Neo on December 23, 2002 11:45 AM
This type fits me mostly. I do have trouble saying no and I am critical of people, especially if they are undependable.
Lyra on December 27, 2002 04:57 PM
ISTJ... That is me, without a doubt. I'm planner, a thinker, and there's nothing quite like finishing a project I've started.
Mina Lightstar on December 28, 2002 11:28 AM
This is totally me. I'm a Virgo too, Fabienne!
Marissa on December 29, 2002 12:41 PM

LadyRia on December 30, 2002 10:38 PM
Ok, this is more me than INTJ (what I got the first time). Funny, I'm also a Virgo. And I am also the keeper of multiple blogs. Everything in it's place.

Fr. Jeffrey Keyes CPPS on March 7, 2003 09:24 PM
Intraverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging That's me, all the way
Adam on March 9, 2003 09:19 AM
Hiliarious! Some of this fits and some doesn't ...for instance over the years I have learned to say no. I do have 2 journals, but not so that I can keep all the info straight, just one goes with me where ever I am and one is online. I am not judgemental of others, because it is not my place to judge, however, I hold myself to higher standards, and I don't feel that everyone has to match my criteria. But, all in all this is pretty cool.
Susan on March 12, 2003 10:17 AM
Multiple blogs: check; judgemental against undependable people: check; security-seeking: check; damn that Jung!
eden on March 17, 2003 11:58 AM
Yes, I'm intraverted, yes I can be judgemental, I do like to update the blog (even though I ahven't had it very long, I already feel committed), I love facts and information - but I only hvae one blog (although I do have a few journals as well...). Oh. What does Jung know anyway??
Willow on March 23, 2003 12:57 PM

I actually do feel guilty if I don't post once a day, and nobody reads the thing. Wait, did I post...? I tried starting a group blog but nobody else posted. Grr.
algae on May 19, 2003 01:13 PM
It's fit me since high school (when I even did a science project on personality types). Add in that I'm as Aspie and I really love order and schedules, and can be a rather evil witch when folks let me down by seeming to be unreliable!
Angelina on May 29, 2003 09:14 AM
Dig the quiz. ISTJ... cool.
Cheryl on May 30, 2003 03:22 PM
Hmmm...am a INTJ usually. Course, intuitive and sensative sound similar.....
Susie on June 3, 2003 07:34 AM
Mostly except for having a streak of impetuousness, evidenced by having to choose most responses by weighting some of the inner statements before choosing.
MommaBear on June 5, 2003 06:43 PM
Yep, seems to fit. I spend a lot of time preparing posts and get quite annoyed with knee-jerk responses.
Grognard on June 9, 2003 12:59 PM
Interesting, but where is the real test? I took this with my counselor and there were tons of questions. I got a different result than the one I got here, with just the four questions. Disappointing.
Liz on June 20, 2003 06:32 PM
wow, this is kinda scary how right-on it was....
Jen-chan on June 24, 2003 10:01 AM
Yep. I'm a ISTJ. Pretty much suits me, I think.
Sky on June 26, 2003 12:47 AM
Just like on the MBTI...i am a steadfast ISTJ, tho i do proudly posess a wild streak.
snosolace on June 26, 2003 05:49 PM
I'm very I and T, somewhat J, and could've gone either way on S.

kat on July 13, 2003 05:27 PM
I am definately introverted, sensing, and thinking, but I'm not too sure about the judging. I guess that's more internal than external. While I only need one blog, I do have made many websites.
Nessie on July 15, 2003 08:32 PM
Everything fits except I have learned to easily say NO! over my 61 years.Tks
Doug on July 18, 2003 02:14 PM
I have studied the personality for several years now. I came to the realization that I actually fit into 2 catagories: ISTJ and ISFJ. My answers are 50/50 for thinking and feeling. It's interesting because I'm a cusp in the zodiac as well: Aries/Tuarus. I wonder...has anyone done a study on the correlation there?
AriKnight on July 20, 2003 09:59 PM
This fits me to a T. Especially the part about being judgemental about others who are not as dependable.
CC on July 25, 2003 09:19 PM
I don't hink that I'm judging, rather worrying, sometimes lethargic.
breaky on July 29, 2003 05:19 AM
Uhm I have been in numerous occasions when I've said "yes" when I should've said "no".
felix on July 31, 2003 05:54 AM
This fits me quite well, though I only have one blog. Maybe I should start another...
Kevin on August 2, 2003 07:41 PM
Rather interesting; this is quite an accurate assessment--though I do not allow myself to be taken advantage of. By the way, 'intraverted' should be spelt with an 'o,' not an 'a.'
Paul Graves on August 11, 2003 08:51 AM
Yeah, this describes me well. I'm critical, tell the truth to people too often and I think too much that it drives me insane sometimes.

well, sort of. i myers-briggs-ed as an INTJ, so this isn't too far off. and i'm certainly a hypercritical one...
laloca on September 23, 2003 12:41 PM
Does 'being taken advantage of' include forgetting this person has burned me before? Yeah, pretty dead on! No wonder I'm single...
Bert on September 28, 2003 01:09 PM
I started a second blog because a link to the first one was sent to people without my permission. I actually created a second one and never gave the new link to the person who "exposed me." How's that for Judging and Introverted? Someone once told me that I look like my mind is always working. I thought it was the dumbest thing I'd ever heard. Isn't everyone's brain always working? Evidently not.
Me on October 10, 2003 01:18 PM
I have the ISTJ personality! :D I'm adding the link to this site right now.
El Fer on October 19, 2003 02:39 PM

TeenFlip on October 22, 2003 08:26 PM
yes......people can depend on me to post at least once or twice a week.....everyday during the summer....and as for the say no part.....that's true, too.
Cindy on October 24, 2003 11:18 PM
ISTJ seems to fit pretty well in some ways but not so well in others. The question choices seemed to be rather limited. Some parts fit better than others so it became necessary to choose the best fit rather than the perfect fit. I do love having & following procedures most of the time, with forays off into the unknown at what might appear to others to be a moment's notice. Mostly though, every step has been carefully examined from the inside/outside/backside/frontside before it is taken. Not many lost days for this organizer gal! Unless it involves reading just about any book on a myriad of everchanging subjects.
dmombit on November 2, 2003 02:52 PM

susan on November 18, 2003 04:37 AM
Could be better done. I'd advise going to http://www.socionics.com for a better test and more intresting things there. Such as intertype relations. Use the inter type relations to ensure that your relationships remain benficial to you. Dump the excess baggage.
Scott on November 28, 2003 06:04 AM
Wow. Spot-on! And, to join some of the other commenters, I'm also a Virgo (only a few days away from being a Libra), and I run several weblogs as well. :)
Sasha on December 1, 2003 09:40 AM
It didn't fit me to well, and I think the reason is that I fell between chairs. None of the options fitted me exactly. I'd rather use half of the right alternative and combine it with half of the left alternative... But it was fun reading anyway....

Me on December 7, 2003 08:43 PM
ISTJ in some ways, not in other ways ... though I have over a dozen different blogs for different purposes, and I did have to 'prepare' myself for Bloginality by putting it on my 'list'). Thanx Kristine, this was fun!
PABlo on December 9, 2003 10:12 AM
Doesn't make sense. With four questions with two answers to each, one can find out anothers whole personality. No, I don't buy this shit...

"You may get taken advantage of in group situations because you are known as not being able to say no." Once upon a time, yes. But not since I woke up one morning and realized I needed to stop trying to please people; I've been a lot happier since then -- just the same, ISTJ still fits me perfectly outside that singular aspect. muhaha :)
Tanya Katerina on March 30, 2004 10:25 AM
sounds EXACTLY like me, practially to a fault lol only thing is things like "She was surprised, for example, to find that someone she had talked with only by phone had red hair, because she "didn't usually like" people with red hair!" would be wrong because i dont much care about looks... i'd be surprized by it, but more because i'm part irish and my aunt and father both have red hair (but i dont lol)
Chris on April 17, 2004 03:19 PM
Mostly me. I do have multiple blogs, but mainly because the blog I started out with was too cute to cut and then I wanted my own and then my friends got LJs so I had to as well. But I do have to say, quite a lot of the time I am imaginative and creative, so I'm not sure I can be pigeonholed into just one category...

Eh, it's kind of like me but not fully. I was more in the middle of all the questions, so I'm probably more of a combination. I do get pissed when things change too fast for me or when I can't depend on people but I'm also pretty unemotional and like to depend more on myself anyway. Blah.
Brittanie on May 25, 2004 06:31 AM
INTJ, but there are more extensive tests out there, where I get a ISTJ.... http://www.socionics.com
David on May 25, 2004 12:36 PM
You're right. I can't say no, I'm very methodical and I sometimes shirk work so I can get my blog updates out in the morning. Some people call it a poor work ethic, I call it responsibility to my readers!
Stacy on September 16, 2004 08:13 PM
Close...but no cigar. Still a pretty interesting evaluation of myself.
D. Campbell on September 24, 2004 11:00 AM
INTJ - oh, yeah. I can't stand it when my favorite bloggers don't post regularly. Same with fanfic authors.
Moony on September 27, 2004 01:14 PM
I AM VERY DEPENDABLE AND IF I SAY IM GONA DO SOMETHING I DO IT !!!!!!!
JESSICA on September 28, 2004 11:45 AM
that totally decribes me and the way i am
maria_rodriguez20042004 on September 29, 2004 07:13 AM
fits to a 't'. i wish i could print everything i've read about my personality and wave it some peoples face, but i know and that's all that counts.
weirdlenore on October 10, 2004 09:52 AM
I feel that this test is accrate because it describes me to the T.
alexandra on December 13, 2004 11:28 AM
this test definatly describes me. i have a routine i need to follow, with only slight deviation. i stick to what i know, not what i could know.
Jared on December 18, 2004 09:19 AM
spanish-speaking, pro-catholic, interested in the future of this world, open minded, only ideas and opinion interchanges. With need of communicating strong religious convictions on man and woman, family, international relationship.
Jorge Salinas on January 1, 2005 07:27 AM
Interesting... when I took the MB test 20 yrs ago I was an ENFP; it would seem that my personality has changed pretty dramatically! But ISTJ fits me as well now as ENFP did then.
maimoonahmasoud on January 8, 2005 07:32 AM
Sounds like me. Visit my journal and see.
Carrie on January 16, 2005 11:32 PM
You guys hit the nail right on the head! :)
Ms. Piggy on January 23, 2005 09:29 AM
Yeah this would seeminhly reflect me, though not my blogging.. i think!
Monjo on February 15, 2005 03:11 AM
amazing. It fits me just about 100%.
Steve on February 23, 2005 07:17 PM
I am very judgemental.
Scott on March 9, 2005 12:09 PM
pretty well. of course, with more questions, you get a more defined, narrowed type, instead of four questions with broad answers. but this way is good too. the other tests are long. with a long test, i was INTJ.
scionis on March 10, 2005 11:53 AM
ISTJ I'm judgemental, crictical, and overly analytical. I also tend to get irritinated by not finishing a project.
Contagion on March 23, 2005 12:37 PM
ISTJ, fits like a glove. Really does.
tincanman on March 29, 2005 08:51 PM
I am a SJ personality. But I am not introverted... I am sensing, thinking, judging.
Bekah on April 6, 2005 04:51 PM
The test shows me as an ISTJ. I think that does fit my personality in general. I've taken several different personality-type tests and they all say about the same thing.
Jon on April 8, 2005 05:01 PM
True, I was posting on two blogs (one was a group blog), but now I just have one, and that's plenty! I'm a regular poster, too, and yes...I get frustrated when others haven't blogged in a week. C'mon people! I'm not a super strong "T", as the "F" of my feelings starts slipping in sometimes. I'm able to say no pretty easily, but I don't like to hurt anyone's feelings. I do pretty well at being tactful, and I tend to feel concerned about how others might feel.
M.B. McClendon on April 18, 2005 03:30 PM
I'm a multiblogger who find it hard to say no (but I had to learn to say it once in awhile now that I'm past 50), and I like to blog postings to be without grammatical errors, typos or other things that keep it from looking exactly right!
MB on April 26, 2005 10:51 AM
I'm an ISTJ all the way. My friends were really shocked to find out I was introverted because I'm outgoing in a social situation, but this tracks with the full Meiers-Briggs Temperament Analysis I had done professionally about 7 years ago. I had an analytical job, and 7 out of 10 in my training class came out this type or close to it.
Jill on June 14, 2005 10:53 AM
I'm more of an E than an I, but I'm definitely STJ all the way.
Julie on August 26, 2005 03:03 PM
Oh yeah, that's me. I'm so glad I'm not alone! I feel like I'm the only one who is constantly judging people, and the only one who has to work on keeping my mouth shut occasionally.
Dale on September 1, 2005 06:20 PM
definetly ISTJ I'm so dependable ...and get seriously pissed off at people if they are 15 mins late. yeip i have 3 blogs but it's because I keep parts of myself separate. There's the online me, artist me, and the true me.
Niv on September 25, 2005 10:16 AM
It's so me - at work and at home.
Paul Henman on October 3, 2005 11:24 AM
I've never had a test hit the nail on the head like this. I find it great to know that I'm not the only one.
Matt on October 12, 2005 10:44 PM
this fits me. I know i am either istj or isfj.
Al on October 17, 2005 05:00 PM
I took this type of test on another site, only a few minutes ago. I was, then, an INTJ. I then took the test on this site, and am now an ISTJ. How do I decide which is more accurate? I think both descriptions fit me pretty well.
Tynesha on October 22, 2005 08:05 PM
This is the second result of ISTJ. My word is my committment. I do my job and expect others to do theirs whatever it may be.
Beps on October 25, 2005 10:34 PM
I am entp and it fits me in every way. However, I am detail oriented to the point of perfectionistic. I consider myself to be a procrastinating perfectionist and I think we are often misdiagnosed as having ADD when we are just ENTPs.
bettyjotaylor on November 1, 2005 07:49 PM
Seems logical. I am very intoverted. I work mre with comprehensible facts than the unknown. I reason out like Mr. Spock on Star Trek most of the time. And I'm quiet punctual. So the ratio of me being an ISTJ to the INTJ is 73.1
Jason Barth on November 6, 2005 11:17 AM
ISTJ is a dead-on description. I'm in the Counseling field and find this fascinating - how I could be assessed by such a simple questionnaire! And, I even have two blogs...as it suggests I might.
Stacy on November 7, 2005 03:30 PM
I'm mostly ISTJ though i feel reasonable comfortable with N too.
Jyoti on November 22, 2005 02:07 AM
This test just confirmed what i knew very well.
Blanka Budai on December 14, 2005 09:17 AM
This is me, and it is so good to get to know me. Love the validation.
Randy on January 4, 2006 12:31 PM
I'm an ISTJ - this doesn't surprise me, because I'm quite a shy person, and I am very focused on my tasks and goals.
Victoria on January 6, 2006 02:11 PM
I'm ISTJ all the way. Every time I take any personality test, it somes up exactly the same. How's that for predictability?
sher on January 12, 2006 10:51 PM
I always wondered.
John Schmidt on January 31, 2006 05:56 AM
I am an ISTJ.Always had a hard time saying no,even goes to grouptherapi to learn it Lol.Ah well cool test.
Car on March 26, 2006 05:11 PM
:) ISTJ as always!!!! :)
pinklilstar on April 21, 2006 11:14 PM
I am an ISTJ! and I want to know more people the same.. I find very hard to find people like me...
Victoria on May 2, 2006 07:50 AM
ISTJ: thats me alright! but remember it always better for people to now you as a responsible person than some one tey can't depened on. make sure you don't get taken advantage of.
MARIA on May 8, 2006 06:48 AM
Yes, I am an ISTJ. Am I thrilled? No. I mean I have the personality of Spock! Bummer! I'm the Fred Mertz in I Love Lucy! Who wants to be Fred Mertz? Not me! I took at least three personality test and they all say I'm an ISTJ. So yeah...it's pretty much confirmed that's what I am. I now have to learn to make good use of this self knowledge.
notlikehitleriswear on August 16, 2006 10:46 AM
Yep, ISTJ, that's me! I am very goal oriented and list driven! But I'm also fun! I really am!
Nola on September 28, 2006 01:49 PM
ISTJ, huh? Well, it's not surprising, since my lifestyle pretty much fits that description. But it proves that I think first before rushing into some weird volatile project that could result in something totally different than what I had predicted.
Adam on October 11, 2006 02:37 PM
yes, i'm an ISTJ.... At first i thouth that this pesonality did'nt fit with me until a teacher read a paper i printed and yealled at me saying that this personality type fit me just fine ?!?!?! Now i just try to do what i like and take advantage of who i am
Abril on November 21, 2006 01:16 PM
I took the test way back in Jan 2003 and was an INFJ. Retook it again, now I'm an ISTJ, which fits the profile of more elaborate tests I've taken :)
jon g on November 23, 2006 07:37 AM
ISTJ and blogs? I dont see the connections. What an obvious display of complete narcissism and conceit
James on January 14, 2007 05:54 PM
This is dumb, but true. I'm judgmental, I'm too nice to say no(sometimes), I'm organized, and I'm a perfectionist, but I hate blogging and myspace...overall I'm a loser. j/j
Wylie on February 14, 2007 09:57 PM
i m also a ISTJ and i would like to do anything by myself and i m almost success....i dont care about what the people say....
Bibek on March 12, 2007 06:48 PM
I've taken the test on three web site and all say I'm a ISTJ. True I'm an intreverted thinker with a judging attitued who works in computing (one recomended career for ISTJ) but i'm thinking of becoming a chef, a ISFP career. Is this career chage right for me??
Philip on March 14, 2007 10:16 AM
I've taken this test the first time ever when I was in my first college quarter. It told me I was an INTP type, but then I took the mbti test over a long period of time sporadically. Ever single time after that first test, I was assessed as an ISTJ. It fixs me perfectly, I must say. I really like mbti tests. They're quite accurate.
candiland on April 19, 2007 05:51 PM
Hi all! I can't be bothered with anything these days, but shrug. I just don't have anything to say recently. Bye
tihopilik on July 8, 2007 09:53 AM
This is the second test I've taken-they both say I'm an ISTJ-heh,it looks like I have lots of friends:-)
Joan on August 15, 2007 02:26 PM
I've taken the test a couple times over the years, but ISTJ is the first time I feel it actually fit. Past results where INTJ and ENTJ. I think perhaps the wording of questions through me off. This fits better with my love of the American justice system (criminal justice major :P) and having people frequently tell me I'm very organized, reliable, and punctual. I've had people in corporate offices rely on me over their own clocks :)
James on August 30, 2007 01:42 PM
My type fits me in every way. It explains why I like traditions, and the way things are. I'm not overly emotional, very organized (to the point where it annoys people), and very punctual.
Katy on July 1, 2008 10:28 PM
i'm an INTJ, and my mother is a stubborn istj. I absolutely hate how she is not a selfless person, will not listen, always finds negatives in life, always needs someone to blame. Quick as hell to blame others, including my (not so smart father). Please don't be that. You guys need to be more open minded. Most people don't like you guys.
david on October 26, 2008 02:33 AM
it is interesting to note that in large groups I am outgoing, but especially as I have...um...ahem...matured, I have found I enjoy smaller groups and more intimate settings. Rather than just mass humanity, the dinner-party wins out, whether it is getting to know people, or entertaining those I know already, rather than just a huge event and lots of people everywhere. ====================== Seasol http://www.cigarsdirect.com
Seasol on January 8, 2009 11:35 PM
I'm an ISTJ, and I think of all the types, it's especially important that we become self aware. An expanded ISTJ mind is capable of just about anything. I have an interesting perspective, mostly because I always test as ISTJ, but my "T" is somewhat weak. Remember, we just have a predisposition to these traits, we are not defined by them. This means that sometimes I flat out switch to emotional decision making and thinking out loud in weird segments. This allows for an interesting scenario, as we ISTJs traditionally do not express ourselves well. ISFJs have no such problem, and this interesting play of events with me causes me to become extremely self aware and express emotional distress about rational, detailed things. Regardless, I'm happy that I understand my own personality through these tests, but I'm extremely unhappy that so many people are using it to define themselves.
Scott on February 28, 2009 05:22 PM
I'm always thinking, always trying to work things out peacefully, and I'm very considerate and thougtful to others.
Sean on April 27, 2009 05:35 PM
It is crazy how accurate this is for me! I am an office manager for several doctors. I am quiet at unstructured events like holiday parties, however, am a diehard personality on the job! And organization is my favorite pasttime!
Cheri on August 13, 2009 07:03 PM
I feel this fits me fairly well. I do disagree with the results saying I fit a judgmental personality. That actually is quite the opposite of who I am and how I think.
Cindy on January 4, 2010 09:49 AM
describes me perfectly. Have taken several versions of this and always end up an ISTJ.
Honora on March 9, 2010 04:23 PM
ISTJ is my type of personality...which describes 100% how I react.
Kudo Shinichi on March 25, 2010 06:41 AM
Your description is partly wrong. It's F types who often can't say no.
