You are an INFJ!

As an INFJ, you are Intraverted, iNtuative, Feeling , and Judging.
This makes your primary focus on Intraverted Intuation with Extraverted Feeling.

This is defined as a NF personality, which is part of Carl Jung's Idealist (Identity Seeking) type, and more specifically the Counselors or Protectors

As a weblogger, you are a perfectionist. Even though you have artistic thoughts, you may change designs frequently because of this perfectionistic insticts. You appreciate order and systems, and so you may stay with the same weblog program for a long time to keep things constant. Your personality type is rare, and so you are very special!

This is Who I Am!

Leave your information so others can read webpages of people with similar personality types!
Right on all the way--I'm definitely a perfectionist.
Yvette on June 5, 2002 05:44 AM
definitely on the right track. i am a perfectionist and an idealist.
lor on June 5, 2002 06:45 AM
I knew I was an INFJ, but I didn't know that was the reason I constantly redesign my site!
erich on June 5, 2002 09:50 AM
INFJ sounds me-ish, i guess... *squints* except that my blog does not look artistic enough, i think. my layouts are too simple!
marisa on June 5, 2002 11:01 AM
I think this sounds like me.
Carol on June 5, 2002 11:51 AM
Lol - I'm a Keirsey Temperament INFJ too! :P
Amy on June 5, 2002 07:17 PM
Nice. I have a rare personaility type. *grin* I wonder how accurate it is, most of the choices I was about mid-way between the answers. I haven't changed my design for *ages* either :)
Mr Mist on June 6, 2002 05:11 AM
Pretty accurate test--I always end up with INFJ on the personality tests :)
Shana on June 6, 2002 09:00 AM
whatcha gonna do?
james on June 6, 2002 09:27 AM
The whole "counselor" thing is me. And I call myself a "recovering perfectionist" (in that I've learned not to let it rule my life). I also go for the "appreciates order and systems" thing - that's me, also. I'm *special*! (giggle)
fillyjonk on June 6, 2002 02:14 PM
rare and special...that's me!
synk on June 6, 2002 02:50 PM
Definitely on target. :-)
Lisanne on June 6, 2002 03:01 PM
the quintessential INFJ, that's me.
Eileen on June 6, 2002 07:25 PM
***raspberry*** MaleCowExcrements I am not defined by tests...
Tetragonum on June 7, 2002 02:05 AM
Hmmm... I don't know how rare INFJ is because almost every weblogger that I've seen link to this test is one (myself included).
Rachel on June 7, 2002 08:00 AM
Just wanted to point out an error on this page. INFJ is Introverted iNtuition and Extraverted Feeling. The J shows that the judging category (Thinking/Feeling) is extraverted. Introverted Feeling/ Extraverted iNtuition is INFP And, yes, I am definately INFJ. :P
laura on June 8, 2002 11:17 AM
It pretty accurate for me. Prefection I am!
Chris on June 8, 2002 01:07 PM
well, I'm certainly not one for redesigns of my site, but the rest of it all seems about right ;)
kismet on June 10, 2002 02:42 AM
perfectionist? hmm.. not sure abt this but i'm quite abit of a counsellor myself.. love to be special but seems odd that there're so many INFJ pple leaving note here.. maybe this place is only for INFJs.
cecilia =) on June 10, 2002 10:27 PM
well, if I do a full Kierey test I end up and INFJ too. So I guess it just does. It does, too. It's me to a T. my new url will be http://the-onion.net (soon)
Melanie on June 18, 2002 02:50 AM
well, i like online tests, but with a grain of salt. I was a intp, then an intj, and now i'm an infj. what next?
skattrkattr on July 3, 2002 06:41 PM
i am pretty marginal concerning thinking/feeling and judging/perceptive. Supposively I am very situational. But whatever.
misty on July 17, 2002 07:56 PM
infp's are supposively pals of infj's. neat.
misty on July 17, 2002 08:06 PM
This explains why my blog looks the way it does
John on July 22, 2002 08:42 AM
Rare and special. Yeah ....that's me.
Claudia on July 23, 2002 12:25 PM
A test I did at eMode put me as ISFJ, so they are really close. I am fussy about my blog and it can be the default template, or my perfect creation. There is no middle road!
KiwiNessie on July 30, 2002 02:00 AM
Everything fits!! For any INTJs reading this...emotions are logical!! Ya just got to understand them. INFJ- dominant- introverted intuition! Auxilary- extraverted feeling
Ashley on August 4, 2002 11:46 AM
Intuition? Yes. Counselor-like? Yes. Good with web design enough that I can afford to c hange my layout all the time? I don't think so. ^_^
Kristin (k) on August 9, 2002 03:29 PM
Yep it's me okay. To a t.
Debbie on August 11, 2002 11:46 AM
misunderstood = infj *smiles*
isabelle on August 14, 2002 06:58 AM
Wow, this is exactly me! I feel the pressure to change my layout all the time-- I am such a perfectionist!
Laura on August 15, 2002 03:33 PM
I am so an IFNJ, I believe we are very special people and so does the world
kelly on August 21, 2002 12:47 AM
INFJ. very accurate depiction of my character. (at least i think so)
benedict on August 24, 2002 06:10 AM
Well, that explains a lot.
trivimp on August 26, 2002 04:57 PM
I'm a "clear" INFJ, although I look a lot like an ENFJ at times. Hey, your description is SO wrong -- are you gonna fix it? It's kinda offensive to a real INFJ. You ascribe us with having the functions of INFP, which is our functional polar opposite! Please repair this! (editors note - all taken care of, thank you!) If other INFJs want to learn about their Leadership and Interaction styles, order the $5 book "Interaction Styles" from www.16types.com -- it will blow you away and be some of the best money you ever spent! (See? I have to "counsel" perfect strangers! I can't help myself!!)
Vicky Jo on August 27, 2002 03:24 PM
THANKS for repairing the error, Kristine! I feel much better now. :-D
Vicky Jo on August 27, 2002 08:21 PM
Its so wierd how its so true about me! And its says I should be a musician which is true
Phil Hallam on September 3, 2002 12:30 PM
This is so me. I am a counselor and a minister. This is quite confirming.
nwells on September 8, 2002 08:54 PM
how can INFJ be so rare if almost everyone here is one? maybe something with our creativity and wanting to be with ppl make us post these things...:)
Maggie on September 15, 2002 12:33 PM
Fits good. I've always been this caring about everyone and pleasing all-person. That's me, yep..., but I am not constantly redesigning my site though... Just now and then.
lise Mariann on September 23, 2002 12:33 PM
INFJ - definitely me. :D
Alita on October 3, 2002 09:31 PM
Ahh... perfect, though I do say so myself ;P
Shirou on October 5, 2002 03:45 AM
yes, that is totally me! XD
Raiha on October 7, 2002 03:02 PM
whoa... ME!
chrisna on October 13, 2002 04:14 PM
My intuition is through the roof. I'm definitely an artist, but a perfectionist all the same. I have special 'gifts' that are extremely unexplainable yet very real. I'm drawn to tests and identity... I am your average(?) INFJ, no doubt.
Joe on October 15, 2002 11:55 PM
"How can INFJ be so rare if almost everyone here is one?" I was searching for the word "INFJ" in Google. That's how I found this site. I'm very special. I knew this a long time ago, but I didn't know that I am an INFJ until recently. BTW I, too, frequently redesign my web site. :-)
Zsolt on October 18, 2002 06:36 PM
yep, it's me.... the eclectic eccentric
Lori on October 24, 2002 12:13 PM
Hey Guys, why are you suprised there are so many INFJ's? It is the INFJ personality that finds webwork so appealing... Take care, Erin
Erin on October 25, 2002 07:42 PM
I think another reason as to why there's so many INFJs is because they like to express themselves through writing rather than speaking. And seeing as how the internet is not exactly a desolate place... it makes sense that there'd be so many with online journals.
Maya on October 30, 2002 03:07 PM
DEAR GOD, I HAVE WAITED FOR THE THE PROPRER DEFINITON OF WHAT I HAVE SUFFRED FROM SO LONG. THIS IS SO PAINFULLY ME. I"M TIRED OF IT
DAVID M. BONWEG on November 2, 2002 10:41 PM
"identity seeking" -that's me :)
maddy on November 5, 2002 10:47 AM
INFJ is me all over. Perfectionist, nurturing, observing writer, unable to explain how she knows things or how to do things, just *knowing*. I'm so glad I'm not alone. ^_^
Hana on November 8, 2002 06:19 PM
INTJs rule!!! INFJs are nothing but spoiled brats who take constantly take the enemy's side! (i.e. U.S.A. vs. IRAQ, we have many INFJs moronically saying "Give peace a chance"! hah!
chris on November 8, 2002 10:47 PM
huh.... INFJ.... I was made to believe it was a disorder... No wonder people say they don't know anyone else like me...
Lara on November 10, 2002 09:49 PM
Oh yeah, and does anyone else get told all the time "I just can't seem to figure you out" or something similar?
Lara on November 10, 2002 09:51 PM
INFJ is me completely! We are rare gem - on the road to greatness!
Carrie on November 12, 2002 09:25 PM
hmmmn juz gotta know iam dis infj etcetc...do they make good filmmakers..coz i rreally wanna be one!!
hemz on November 15, 2002 11:53 AM
I liked the line "small number of this type (little more than 2 percent) is regrettable" from keirsey.com. :*) I am also a six on the enneagram (see EnneagramInstitute.com) and I wonder how common that is for this type. We should talk.
dan on November 19, 2002 12:04 PM
I had taken the real personality test twice, so I probably gave biased answers. ;) (I was INFJ when I took it)
Dev on November 25, 2002 02:45 PM
Reading about my type is therapeutic for me. Often I feel--as I know you all must--that I am not understood. I am torn between the fear of revealing the intimate parts of myself, and thereby exposing myself to rejection, and the compulsion to become more of who I am. The hardest thing about being an INFJ is when people persecute you, just because you see the world in a different way. And yet, I would never want to be anything other than what I am. There is so much beauty in each of us, as there is in all the unique and varied types, and I truly hope we all find our way home. My love to all!
Mira on November 27, 2002 11:55 PM
I'm an INFJ through and through... Love to hear from you!
Nathan on December 7, 2002 05:10 AM
It seems about right to me. I don't know if I trust these tests-- they break it down too much. I think that personality is more complex than this I guess-- But this was fun!
Susan Murray on December 21, 2002 02:58 PM
I just redesigned my site 4 times in 2 days...yeah this fits
craig on January 7, 2003 05:55 AM
Yes, yes ... I confess ... I'm a perfectionist ... lead me to the death chamber!
kurt on January 7, 2003 08:45 AM
I can't believe it... right on the nose... I plan on buying the book as soon as I get the chance.
Alison on January 8, 2003 01:38 PM
I'm an INTJ, but I've got respect for INFJs. INTJs have math and science, which is cool, but it's like INFJs must have a connection to God or something mystical.
Robert on January 15, 2003 04:19 AM
Well mostly true except for the perfectionist and constantly changing design part. Well okay so I have thought of chaning my blog site's design, but just been too busy, and other website are higher on my list of priorities... The last option was hard to decide though. Little of the left choice, little of the right choice...
jon g on January 15, 2003 06:17 PM
I'm right between ISFJ and INFJ, so I'll just leave a comment here. Both descriptions are SO true for me.
Karla on January 16, 2003 08:38 PM
I've tested INFJ for years. I guess that's me. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Michael on January 22, 2003 02:58 PM
Not sure I like the term "introvert" but, this suites me almost to a tee
purlgrrl on January 25, 2003 04:15 PM
sounds like me.
Barry on January 28, 2003 04:19 PM
Haha. I've been using blogger for the longest time because it's easy!! I'm afraid of scripts haha.. :P
Amy on February 4, 2003 02:29 AM
Definitely me. I will always go the extra mile so things are perfect (or nearly). The introvert part? hmmm...not so much these days, though.
Rossana on February 4, 2003 10:34 PM
INFJs... the seekers of the Self, the sum of contradictions: idealism tempered by cynicism, insecurities battling integrity, finding spiritual meaning in the material world. Love it, love it, love it.
Maria on February 5, 2003 04:59 PM
I just came across this website in my search for Jungian links... Great Idea! I love that my Myers Briggs type is melded with my Blog! I have "Bloginality". :-)
Trish on February 8, 2003 04:29 AM
Read my blog and you can do the analysis yourself!
MAA on February 8, 2003 08:08 PM
yeah... that's me, all right.
Steph on February 8, 2003 11:16 PM
would just like to point out a couple of mistakes... under the heading "You are an INFJ" the spelling of the words Introverted and Intuitive is wrong.
hmm on February 13, 2003 08:37 AM
Golly! Just look at my blog! lol! I am definately a perfectionsist cuz I can't ever git it rite! lol!
TxInMommie on February 13, 2003 04:29 PM
I have to say that they are right on! It's strange to see yourself described to a T. I drive myself crazy trying to get everything just right!
Shannon on February 21, 2003 05:20 AM
Art, film, the web, and a little bit of life. It's all me!
Leann on February 25, 2003 09:02 PM
INFJ fits me exactly to a "T", its so scary. I'm terribly relational, a social worker/counselor, and love to start new projects and never finish a thing. =)
Ruth on February 27, 2003 12:37 PM
Already knew this, but nice to have confirmation!
Heather on March 4, 2003 04:32 PM
well, wat can i say ? ^_^
teacup on March 6, 2003 11:22 AM
This test is so accurate! It is all me! The counselor type fits me great! I like being different from the rest of the population!
Madeline on March 6, 2003 02:14 PM
This is completely true. When I started my blog I changed the template and colors a lot until it was perfect for me. I'm definitely a perfectionist. It makes my husband crazy sometimes! ;)
sashafoo on March 12, 2003 02:42 PM
I'm just a fellow alien on this planet! The only ones (family members) who now my real identity have been sworn to secrecy. (I appear to be a an ENTP on the outside - years of trying to hide I guess) I guess I've turned into a "fair" chameleon through the years. But, I wish I could find my way home - I look to the stars, but nothing looks familiar anymore.
Steven J. Dresen on March 20, 2003 05:54 AM
i never heard of this stuff until yesterday, but it fits pretty close i guess. . .mostly. . .
frelkins on March 24, 2003 11:16 AM
well it did not uplift me it just made me realize how difficult the life ahead of me is and i will analyze forever.
lucy horalek on March 30, 2003 08:23 PM
Wow... so I'm the rare (1% of the population)INFJ... I feel so alone.
Beth on March 31, 2003 03:38 PM
its so nice knowing i'm not the only one who struggles with analyzing and obsessive perfectionism! :-D now i know why i'm an artist too....
christine on March 31, 2003 07:59 PM
I thought we were suppose to be rare? Hey INFJ's! The world needs dreamers and doers, but most of all--they need dreamers that do! And that's us baby! INFJ all the way!

J. M. Branum on April 30, 2003 06:45 PM
yes, I"m an INFJ, description is good, but the orderly part bothers me, I guess I"m a discouraged perfectonist (result of being an only/then oldest child maybe), but I am always trying to find a better system, & do believe in self-improvement. My desk is not is disarray, but it may be the only neat part of my life at times! High values yes, spiritual, & love to encourage others for sure. Hard to understand at times, but I do love to express my self, and at times love to stand back & watch the disbelieving reactions just for fun! Love being SPECIAL! :)

See, that should have been "errors", not "error".
CC on June 18, 2003 02:33 AM

Marshy on August 1, 2003 08:58 AM
Actually this test is too short to be really accurate. I took the full Meyers Briggs and am INFP as opposed to INFJ as determined by this score. But hey, this was fun!!
alangeewhiz on August 4, 2003 04:57 AM
While we are certainly rare (and if you're really an infj, you'll know how alone we really are) we are the type that would obsess over such a personality test (constantly looking for answers & something bigger), and therefore be more likely to be here in this forum.
Kim on August 6, 2003 10:35 PM
I fit right into the INFJ description. Nice to know there are so many of us!
Lynn on August 9, 2003 10:36 PM
this is probably pretty accurate for me :) however, this test did seem rather too short to know for certain!
Mitu on August 17, 2003 04:25 AM

INFJs are true introverts, who can only be emotionally intimate and fulfilled with a chosen few from among their long-term friends, family, or obvious "soul mates." ... Yes, I am.
uyet on November 20, 2003 03:13 AM
There's nothing wrong with aiming for perfection, it's my job, I'm a software Tester!
technodummy on November 21, 2003 03:34 AM
Yep. INFJ sounds right to me, although I want to go cry now. *Sniffle* I hate being judged. (j/k)
Tiffany on November 25, 2003 03:10 PM
There are so many of us because we are the ones who will go to the ends of the earth just to find an explanation for ourselves. We know from birth we are "different" and are constantly searching for answers. We are the psychological profilers, the artists, the dreamers and doers, the pacificts. There may be hundreds of us here, but look anywhere else, and you'll find that the INFJ's are a rare breed.
tempestjewel on November 29, 2003 02:38 PM
Now it all makes sense why I always found more friends on the internet than in my neighborhood. We are introverted and rarely meet others like ourselves. Even if we do, it's hard to open up!
Rachel on November 30, 2003 10:53 AM
I have taken different versions of this test and ALWAYS come up with INFJ. I know a lot of people due to my job, but I am close with only a few. And if it weren't for the internet, I'd probably be a complete hermit!

Definitely an INFJ

it's funny, i'm a perfectionist when it comes to clothing, bedroom furnishing, etc. but i couldn't care less about my blog :P i'm always always on any test i take infj. it's nice to know that there's other 'odd' [how i used to see myself ^^;] people like me around!
merioneth on December 8, 2003 08:21 PM
INFJ. Yup, that's what Keirsey says, too. That's what some company I paid $50 to, said, as well. And like most INFJs, I'm a seeker, of sorts-- and have found very few members of my "tribe" outside people I know on the web.
DenmarkGuy on December 11, 2003 09:25 PM
I'm special. :)

Wow! A whole connection page just for us and our blogs!?!
Liz on December 23, 2003 01:05 PM
Hey u know what I think we should really form a club or website for INFJ. To help the INFJ, the alien and the rare one. It says INFJ are only 8-10% but the impact they make is outreach the number so if we make a club for INFJ we can help and reach out to so many people out there...well, being an infj myself I love to help people and love to be help 2.
Pure INFJ on December 24, 2003 09:33 AM
If we`d make a club, probably would start a third world war with entire population...;p
Marius on December 26, 2003 03:55 PM
No, INFJ hates conflict, we will save the world... hehe
Pure INFJ on December 29, 2003 08:48 AM
Actually I think we are more like 2% of the population. The total INf's are more like 10% I love being me.

A hermit on February 7, 2004 02:45 PM
I suppose the perfectionist part is why I won't let anyone see my blogs or other writings...

THis test is very precise, I like! :)
Gem on May 14, 2004 05:26 PM
I've taken this test twice, once in high school and once in college, and both times I came out INFJ. I am definately INFJ. It's not easy being weird, but it's sure cool being rare :P
Jessica on May 18, 2004 05:12 PM
INFJ Definitely fits.
Staur on May 19, 2004 09:48 PM
Like a glove. I am a psychic counselor. I use the Tarot cards and my intuition to help people through difficult situations. My goal is to help them find out who they are and how to be true to that. From darkness to light. When I was much younger I took this test and came out an INTJ, I suppose I have changed some since then. :)

This fits me like a glove, seriously. This is me, flat out and truthful. Power to all of us INFJs! = )
Jimmy on June 22, 2004 02:17 PM
I'm a true INFJ, every time I do this test it comes out the same. My blog is new and not very artistic yet ;-) as I didn't invest any money yet. But I do love art and work with art so I guess this is right. Tarot - right on spot, I do Tarot, too. I don't think we're so rare though.
Lila on June 23, 2004 10:40 AM
Hell yeah, perfectionists rock on... Special & rare eh? Now there's an ego booster hehehe...
Silver on June 25, 2004 09:54 PM
Actually, I was tested twice, I got some other letters the first time 'round, but this fits me more than the other one. A listener, planning to join the Peace Corps someday to help peeps in third world countries, intuitive about others, perfectionist (accurate spelling or it's dictionary time), and very wordy on paper and internet (like this comment). I'm pigeonholed. I'm glad I'm not the only one though.
Samantha on July 10, 2004 08:38 AM

200 INFJ's! Wow! We could rule the world if we got together! If you think about how many lives we touch collectively with our empathy and sensitivity, that is astounding. Remember folks, we can touch so many lives, that's why they made so few of us! Have a glorious day!

I have mostly tested as an INTJ however i see alot of the characteristics of my own life in these. i am big on science and maths as well as religion and having a few close relationships with people because i recognise that i cant just think my way through the world alone.
ansell on August 21, 2004 08:04 PM
Although i don't consider myself a perfectionist, i do identify in the heavy-intuition side of the INFJ type. I love the fact that INFJ's are the rarest type there is! :)

Go figure - I was questioning whether those few questions were enough to typecast me, and sure enough they were - same result as I had on the full Myer-Briggs test...
linde on October 27, 2004 12:44 PM
I guess I can relate to Infj, being idealist reflects the low tolarence i have for ingnorance and anger. But in almost every conversation or debate my intuition helps me analyze and sense the other party and find a common ground where the other party had no intention of productivity but ego and greed.Amazing how these statements correspond to a certain human trait
Javit on October 29, 2004 10:42 PM
I always thought I was so weird. Everyone including my friends always commented that their was no one quite like me in the world.. I'm soo glad to hear I'm not alone..

spidena on November 16, 2004 11:15 PM
I have this insatiable urge to serve, like a loyal dog. I am exceedingly offended when someone questions my integrity. The gerbil wheel in my head is always on a wild spin trying to balance ideals and desires with practicality. I get very lonely because what I consider a real friend is an incredibly rare phenomenon. Finally, I'm prideful.
Brad on November 20, 2004 09:48 AM

INFJ fits me so well! It's not surprising to me that only 2% of the population are of this type. It fits me especially in the area of having a deep affinity and love for people but still needing lots of time for myself, as well as heightened sensitivity to the emotions of myself and others.

I'm an INFJ, but I do not see myself as "special". In fact, everyone is special in their own way, regardless of their type. Moreover, the Myers-Briggs personality test tends to be too generalized. Somehow I don't think there are Only 16 "types" of personalities.
Phoebe on February 7, 2005 06:47 PM
DOH! I did it wrong the first time LOL I had clicked on the wrong box. Perfectionist, eh? who me? nahhh! I have always come out INFJ on all the keirsey/briggs tests, so this makes sense!
Ro on February 14, 2005 08:17 AM

Hey i guess i am the first one to post in aug! so, yah this does describe me. I think this little dealy with all theses quotes from people like us is really great, its not often you come accros another infj or a similar infp(i actually have a close friend who is an infp and is so much like me, its amazing and its wonderful to have met someone like me. I think he is the only person like me that i know. Too bad he is to old for me , about 5 yrs older than me, hehe) I think for me i am also very empathetic to people. I am looking into a psychology major, however i am deeply involved in my youth group who right now means nothing less than the world to me) and i am very excited, that my personality from tests like these have given me the strength to realize that i was not meant to be in such a hectic job such becoming a chef(just moved on after 7 years of dreaming to become a chef). any way i hope all those infjs are truly able to accept how wonderfully blessed they are to have such a deep and sound effect on many aspects that need help with in this crazy world. Oh i also wanted to add that i thought it was a great description that we are perfectionists but have artistic thoughts(probably accounts for my constantly messy room). well ok bye everyone!

Ha ha ha ha, it says my personality type is rare, but it's so not =P I'm not that special, I'm just strange ;-)
Gwyn on November 23, 2005 07:47 PM
Over the years, my type has varied a bit--especially under times of stress, when I might get a bit more E, or a little more T. But for the past ten years it has stayed consistently INFJ. Fits what the test is about--assessing what one's preferences and choices will be about. This isn't a horoscope--it simply reflects what we put into it. And as such, there are consistent patterns that we will have, that others with similar choices will have. FYI--I'm a psychiatrist, and love what I do for a living. Grin and bear it, eh?
denise on November 28, 2005 10:36 AM
I've taken MBTI several times and my type has never changed. In my industry (military) it makes me very unique.
Jacq on December 22, 2005 06:22 PM
This fits me pretty well although I am test enfj at another site and consider myself to be borderline on the introversion part as it relates to people. From time to time I re examine myself and read about "me". It helps for some reason that I can't explain. John

INFJ fits me best. At first I thought I was INFP. J fits me much better
Alex on January 1, 2006 01:56 PM
I'm somewhere between INFJ and INTJ.Can you believe that? Anyway, I advise you, folks, not to take these types too seriously.I see them more like a tool.Useful but pretty relative.
Kniva on January 19, 2006 02:47 PM
Yeah, it was cool to read the INFJ personality description, especially the weaknesses, because it's so me. And also, for the people who are wondering why there are so many INFJs here: 1% of 6 billion is still 60,000,000 people.
megan on February 6, 2006 02:12 PM
I fall somewhere between INFJ and ENFJ but more towards the I. I can definitely relate to the whole notion of knowing things and not knowing why I know them and having psychic experiences. I am, however, quite outgoing and talkative (sometimes too open with people) but then I will withdraw for periods of time. quite interesting tool.

Have taken several different tests and always test as INFJ. My daughter is INFJ too, which definitely makes for easy communication between us! Very soothing to be around her! :)
mabs on February 26, 2006 02:54 PM
Ya, I don't plan to change my weblog program, someone recentely called me a 'recluse' (intrevert) but of course I'm not shy when my feeling come in!

Perfectly... just right, like worn underwear. mmm
Ren on March 22, 2006 12:39 PM
this is deffinantly me to a tee. most people woudl externally examine me to have a ISTJ type becuase i am so scientific. but i am very very artistic too so i am much much more a INFJ, ive met some ISTJ's before...we dont get along at all ^_^;;
Pieter on April 5, 2006 01:32 PM
INFJ is also my personality. Idealist, Appollian, helps to inspire people. Great quiz. I love INFJ!
maverick on April 7, 2006 10:39 PM
I am actually an ENTJ married to an INFJ. It is a great combination that gets too little press. Maybe it is due to the rarity of INFJs, but ENTJs are pretty scarce too.
Mary Anne on April 12, 2006 12:46 AM
It would seem, I'm neutral to many. But Yeah, I'm most likely to be INFJ than the others. >.>
Dayanna on April 30, 2006 05:55 PM
It is me.
Jake on May 16, 2006 04:11 PM
INFJ... now I'm sure I am different
Uche on May 31, 2006 11:27 AM

michelle on July 1, 2006 06:03 PM

IMPORTANT NOTE: I am organizing a club/semi-secret-society/political-party thing. I want you people to tell me what you think. NO SPAMMING! hyperlink: leave a note.
Alex on August 4, 2006 05:54 PM
Yeah, definitely me. I'm a real perfectionist!!!
1BN3Y on August 8, 2006 12:19 PM
Yeah pretty much true... :)
Gilca on September 16, 2006 09:47 PM
Yep I am pretty certain I am INFJ. Glad to see other people are rejoicing this personality. I have felt it a heavy burden to be so sensative and thin skinned all my life. But obiviously it must have benefits too.
David on September 26, 2006 05:07 AM
yea always a mix of feeling maybe thought that too much?:)
myk on November 3, 2006 03:15 PM
INFJ's feel they are something special. They get frustrated when they don't get what they want and what they are working for, especially when it comes to love.Unrequited love is probably the worst thing in an INFJ's life.
Lisa on December 11, 2006 03:26 AM
Well, is it just me or nobody here feels kind of lonely and tired being an INFJ. We are so complex and so few people understand how and we think...
weird_name_lah on January 6, 2007 05:21 AM
Alex, what's the purpose of your club thing, and what is it going to do? It sounds very interesting.
Chris on February 20, 2007 11:22 AM
for a large part of my life I and everyone around me thought that I was crazy, I'm not. This is the real me INFJ
john on March 4, 2007 08:37 AM
Oh yeah - that's me to a T. I've been on blogger so long I have a 4 letter, one sylable address. That is my 9th design change.
Aleya on March 5, 2007 04:08 PM
how come there are a lot of INFJs? how bout taking the test first.
janlle on April 18, 2007 07:33 AM
yep i've taken 3 tests and they all told me the same outcome! but i guess this one isn't that accurate. lol
haha on April 23, 2007 02:04 PM
I am a heavy INF and split 50/50 on the J and P. I lean more toward the J. I have never felt as if I fit in to "normal" society, so rare fits me. Complex and a huge imagination that needs constant entertainment. Deeply concerned for others, yet needs lots of time to myself. A constant quest for a better me.
April on May 11, 2007 11:35 AM
I have been tested professionally 3 times. I am a strong INFJ - I have never really fit in. Sometimes I wish I weren't - life would be much easier. Its so nice to know there are others out there like me - it helps to know I am not alone.
A on May 22, 2007 05:06 PM
Best thing about INFJ is that those lifelong feelings of "I'm very different" are valid. Worst thing at present is that the world situation is bringing out FAR more of my "shadow personality" than is healthy. URL to club I work for as sole employee/independent contractor. I program my way out of the minutiae...
Mike on May 29, 2007 09:27 AM
I'm definately an infj but I don't know why people are so surprised there's so many on this blog. Many of the other personality types just wouldn't bother thinking about it so much and infj's have a high inclination towards writing and psychology...
Hannah on May 30, 2007 04:34 AM
I am so absolutely an INFJ. It was great to discover this 20 years ago, and have it reconfirmed every 5 years or so.... I always feel I change so much, but really I'm still the same. A journeyer, an artist, constantly analysing myself and the world......
Michelle on September 11, 2007 06:24 PM
Is it that important to be rare? If you are an INFJ, you know that even if we were a larger part of society, we would likely still be "different". Of course, if there were more of us, it would be a good different instead of a I-think-you're-crazy different. :) Regardless of whether we are 1% of the population or 10% of the population, INFJs are pretty special (even if it's only in our own minds).
Amanda on September 16, 2007 09:59 PM
I am an INFJ on every test I take. And perhaps it is rare but if you take the over 6 billion people in the world and then ask what 2% of that is, you still get a lot of people. And I really enjoy personality tests, so other of my personality type probably do to.
Colleen on September 24, 2007 09:19 AM
Hey, I'm an INFJ. For those of you who enjoy your career, what do you do? Also, for anyone who is a counselor, do you like it? I need advice, pronto.
chelcie on October 30, 2007 03:37 PM
I am desperate about finding INFJs, I really want to hang with people who share my unique type of personality, I cannot relate to other types. If anyone wants to, you are very wellcome to write to me.
Kalani on January 1, 2008 07:10 AM
I have tested differently everytime I take the test. Still, this does not fit me all the time. I have tested both as an INTJ and INFP. I have found that perfectionism leaves me exhausted. So I try to watch out that it doesn't get the best of me. I also prefer writing to talking on the telephone. Writing Christmas mail is a creative source of glee to me. I tested my husband, and he turned out to be INFJ too. We stand out a bit in our neighborhood. Our challenge may be to appreciate our differences and not run into quarrels over things we are passionate about. Encouraging growth in others is meaningful, though. Still, I have come to the point of being drained by teaching i.e.. I'm hesitant at putting up structures for others to follow. I seem to believe that there's an inner urge in them that will make sense.
SigMa on January 5, 2008 03:37 AM
Yep, that sounds like me!
HeatherLynn on January 23, 2008 11:26 AM
i all ways wounded why i was the way i am, i just thought i was a splitting image of my mum lol so now i know why eveything in my house has to be clean n perfect and why i get anoyed when im in one place for to long, now i know........
knessa on February 26, 2008 06:45 PM
The INFJ personality description fits me so well, it's almost like someone followed me around for a few years and then wrote down everything about me. I've always felt 'different,' but now I don't feel bad about it. I just wish I could meet some more people like myself. I haven't found very many! I also hate talking on the phone and getting my hair cut. Do you think that's related to having this personality type?
