You are an ISTP!

As an ISTP, you are Intraverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving.
This makes your primary focus on Introverted Thinking with Extraverted Sensing

This is defined as a SP personality, which is part of Carl Jung's Artisans (Sensation Seeking) type, and more specifically the Crafters or Mechanics.

Because of your desire for action and independance, you will change the format of blogging or design frequently to keep it interesting and different. Your loyalty may have you reading the same blogs over a long period of time. Even though you could be easily bored with blogging, you might find that because you like following a project through, this is a good way for you to use your alone time to sort the facts you pick up through the day.

This is Who I Am!

Leave your information so others can read webpages of people with similar personality types!
I do like to change my designs.. I get bored easily with the things around me. Change is a good thing.
Trish on June 4, 2002 07:42 PM
wow. this so fits.
Eve on June 4, 2002 11:11 PM
I hate to be confined. I don't like being told what to do, gotta do it MY way. I actually WOULD change my design often if I had the time!
Rikki on June 5, 2002 12:28 PM
I am the queen of change.....short attention span!
Jo on June 5, 2002 08:00 PM
Definitely an introvert. Very loyal to the blogs I read, and "Even though you could be easily bored with blogging, you might find that because you like following a project through, this is a good way for you to use your alone time to sort the facts you pick up through the day." exactly describes me.
kimmie on June 6, 2002 06:37 AM
"Your loyalty may have you reading the same blogs over a long period of time." Hah, true!
RedDwarf on June 6, 2002 08:16 AM
so if everyone reading this will read my blog, they will allmost be guaranteed to keep comin' back for more ! If it works, it works.
Robin on June 6, 2002 02:43 PM
I'm stunned with the accuracy of the reading. No, really.
James on June 6, 2002 04:34 PM
true in all ways.
Jean on June 6, 2002 09:37 PM
whoa! that's me!
Vix on June 7, 2002 03:18 AM

Lee on June 10, 2002 02:35 PM
YAY!!
mark on June 10, 2002 02:55 PM
I already knew I was an ISTP (borderline ISTJ) from taking the Keirsey Temperament test back before they started charging money for the silly thing. Definately describes me.
sasha on June 11, 2002 02:35 PM
Me to a tee.
trickfred on June 12, 2002 09:28 AM
Hmmm....Yeah.
Kiyo on June 12, 2002 09:00 PM
That's me, definately :-)
Mevr. Solde on June 13, 2002 12:39 PM
ISTP seems reasonable, Idont suffer fools gladly, change settings daily, get bored quickly and over enthusiastic just as quickly. Referred to as Butterfly brained by my partner
Peter K on June 29, 2002 01:50 AM
now THIS ONE fits me well. I redesign all the time, and I'm always looking for bloggable tidbits throughout my day.
Patty on July 2, 2002 04:41 AM
The cap fits...
Nicolas on July 9, 2002 07:39 PM
Sounds like me
Fliry Vorru on July 10, 2002 03:26 PM
spot on. i'd say. lots of format tweaking, devotion to particular blogs, using the blog as a tool to sort the mess in my head. crazy.
chris on July 11, 2002 01:08 AM
this is SO me. almost dead on it's scary...
krissy on July 12, 2002 01:12 PM
blog devotion, constant tweaking(though for me it's words--always editing posts)...hmm. Yeah, that's me all right.
joy on July 30, 2002 09:40 AM
As an ISTP, you are Intraverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving. This makes your primary focus on Introverted Thinking with Extraverted Sensing. This is me...How did you know? ;) *lol*
Karina on July 31, 2002 01:58 AM

GeekGrrl on August 3, 2002 09:08 AM
Spooky. That's totally me to the core. :)
maddy on August 4, 2002 03:14 AM
If I had as much skill as desire to change my blog design, this would be so me. Certainly loyal as a blog reader. There are 8 sights I visit as a daily ritual!
Karen on August 4, 2002 09:06 PM
I fiddle with the template quite a bit, though that has settled down. I'm pretty happy with it now. My desire for action has me constantly going off on new topics though. And yes, I'm more likely to read my regular blogs than look for a new one.
shell on August 8, 2002 10:06 AM
Been thru the MBTI before, so no surprises here. My job is good for the IST parts, but not the P. "Like, whenever, man" doesn't fly with the boss. Shrug....
John on August 23, 2002 11:58 AM
Dude. That description was so dead-on it's scary. LOL!
miggie on September 11, 2002 07:27 AM

Yeah, that fits.
Dean on November 2, 2002 06:34 PM
I barely finish one design and I'm onto the next one. Now I know why ;)
Tracey on November 9, 2002 05:10 PM
ISTP fits me because I find I travel far distances to get the satisfaction I crave for something new, something cool to learn, and experience, I love people, i'm very outgoing, but very spontaneous, and very psychic in alot of cool ways. I know things before they happen, I know people more then they know themselves, and it's a pretty neat thing to be able to do.
amy on November 25, 2002 01:15 PM
i'm an ISTP
laura on December 7, 2002 02:00 AM

Susan L. Prince on December 11, 2002 10:08 AM
Hmmmm....
Ruben on December 19, 2002 11:10 AM
Also, an ISTP. This line cutting into the bottom of each post is rather annoying. bah.
karenX on December 28, 2002 07:34 PM
Hmm... it fits alright, but I wonder if more questions would bring finer definition. I found myself debating the choices half the time.
Ghosty on December 30, 2002 06:29 AM
"Because of your desire for action and independance, you will change the format of blogging or design frequently to keep it interesting and different" fits me to a 't'. :)

i'm loyal to a fault! and love Order, altho i never meet my own standards for it.
kajiracad on January 20, 2003 12:03 PM
It almosts fits me 'cept for the part where it states I frequently change the layout of my blog. I'm just too lazy for that kinda thing. :) LOL other than that, GJ bloginality.com!
johnny on January 21, 2003 11:57 PM
I've got the perfect layout, why change it? Apart from that, very true!
Rhys on January 23, 2003 05:31 AM
I am loyal to the blogs I read. I usually change website designs frequently but I'm trying not to with this one 'cos it's taken me ages!

Ed on February 21, 2003 10:43 AM
I have to admit, it fits me about 99 percent. Im impressed, gives me a lot of food for thought.
sean on February 24, 2003 11:50 PM

wow seems to be right on .anyone knwo of any job's that best suit istp's
steve on March 4, 2003 10:02 AM
I've taken Keirsey tests, so this is hardly surprising. Extending these attributes to predict blogging activities was an entertaining exersize, though.
Chris Miller on March 18, 2003 03:12 PM
I think I took this at a depressing point in my life. Recently I've taken the test again, several times....I'm an ESTP.
Rikki on March 19, 2003 11:39 AM
Everything was accurate! totally agree that this is my personality simplified =)
Mindful on March 29, 2003 03:02 PM
Great - now I know why I have been working in computers for 25 years - Ack! Gotta get away from this thing and find a nice ENT* to dance with ...
greg on April 2, 2003 10:03 PM
I've always been perceived as an extrovert by acquaitances and an introvert by close friends. And yes, I think too much!
profsadin on April 7, 2003 02:46 AM
This is very much me. I'm very much an introvert.
jeanie on April 7, 2003 05:33 AM
I hate being defined. Most of the things I read, were true. I don't know if I should be amazed or shocked; nevertheless, I did enjoy reading things I already hate about myself. don't you?
Vladimir on April 9, 2003 04:17 PM
I certainly try to change what I blog about each day (although currently it is one big link-fest). And I do read many of the same blogs over and over, however I'm open to new ones too.
Tim Swanson on April 11, 2003 12:15 AM
Gahhh ... That is so me. Loyal, introverted + have possibly the shortest attention span known to man.
Kay on April 14, 2003 07:39 AM
Gosh! I'm ISTP! This fits me "implicitly" and "explicitly." My soul is not anymore a mystery! :)
wideyeshut on April 16, 2003 06:34 AM
One thing all these personality tests do is that no matter what penality you get ... you always go "ahhh ... thats me ... its so like me!"
vern on April 28, 2003 04:46 AM
It fits perfectly :) Like most other personality tests, of course, because i picked the answers myself :)
Keva on April 28, 2003 12:42 PM
Scary. It describes me accurately for the most part.
Vernon on April 29, 2003 08:09 PM
Definitely a thinker:-)
Suzi on April 30, 2003 01:07 PM
Correct in every way about me. :)
Maria on April 30, 2003 04:05 PM
Your protagonist has a problem she/he needs to solve. How will they go about it? Maybe they'll do it the same way you would if you were in their shoes. Then again, they are not you, so maybe they'll do it differently. This community encourages writers of different personality types to consider character driven storytelling. Could also be a useful resource to understanding the real antagonists in your own life.
ISTP on May 1, 2003 07:36 PM

Crazy Flannel Horse Lady on May 9, 2003 05:58 AM
confoozled! first i am an INTP (different test, 66 questions), now after 3 questions i am ISTP ? *shrug*. Whats five letters difference? i'll tell you.... NEX is definitely not the same as SEX ! god i'm so tired... nite Rob
My_great_neighbours on May 13, 2003 06:50 PM
ISTP describes me pretty well. My current design is probably the longest I've held onto any one design and I'm starting to get the itch to redesign already.
Jason on May 16, 2003 12:59 PM
ISTP...All great except that I'm not introverted at all. Where the heck did that come from? I'm about the most extroverted a person could get...
Jenn on May 19, 2003 11:07 PM
close, but no cigar. Meyers-Briggs tells me ISTJ, which is right on the money
Niall on May 30, 2003 03:41 PM
pretty damn close, though i really had a tough time choosing options. forever indecisive, a dual personality. i could easily fit into another category - but then couldn't we all?
lomaran on June 2, 2003 12:18 AM

I took the personality test in college, and was an ENTP, but that was 8 years ago. Perhaps I've grown up to be more introverted. Actually, I just chilled out. :)

Perfect!

lilmoonie on June 25, 2003 09:30 AM
This test proves nothing. You have TWO options. What about people who are a mix of things? Oh wait yeah you get judged eitherway. Redundant
mk on June 28, 2003 05:21 PM
I'm homeless so I'm sure a lot of the people that scored the same as me isn't going to thrilled.
Sullivan on July 3, 2003 03:31 PM
quite good. im a virgo so ISTP has pretty much the characteristics associated to virgo
marul on July 8, 2003 10:21 PM
I took the test a couple of months ago.. and I think it is extremely accurate, at least to me.
admiraljustin on July 17, 2003 09:51 PM
this makes me feel more secure. all this time i thought it was just cause i hated people. i don't hate people. i just hate normalcy.

Julie on July 22, 2003 02:55 PM
Life itself is non-conforming. Why should I be like everyone, when I'm comfortable being myself?
AainaalyaA on July 22, 2003 09:32 PM
I like to identify, build, consulte, organize, revolutionize, satisfy, be who I am while knowing who they are and becoming them to know more about them and me at the same time. Ancient history and who they were and how we are still them as sensual beings but competive as in Rome. Romantic to know what they want while making sure we are happy. Inquisitive to understand to be understood but not rude to pri into affairs not involving personal interests. Protective of what is mine and ours but not greedy to be aware that I must give something back or contribute.
Andrew S. Drazdik Jr on August 11, 2003 03:23 PM
That's me. Same list of blogs with very few changes. Already bored with the site design and it has been two months.
phil on August 21, 2003 01:50 PM
Introverted? Yep... And the bit about blogging that says "because you like following a project through, this is a good way for you to use your alone time," is spot on!
david on August 23, 2003 02:56 PM
this results are kinda bogus. i do not have a problem concentrating. if i dont concentrate, its because i dont want to or the subject does not interest me. i dont change the layout or the way i blog because i 'm satisfied with the way things look. And should i ever get tired of blogging i'll just stop. its not a life or death decisition. and the reason why i "stay loyal" its because i have exchanged links with those blog owners. this test shouldnt be so "black or white" when it comes to the answers of the questions, there are a lot of grey areas. I dont think this result fits me at all
Vidar on September 3, 2003 11:29 PM
Reading this I was just like wow!!! I did the test on paper it was soo cool I was really impressed...my mom was an ESTP (the rest of us were (ISTPs) so we were all teasing her. Haha anyway I just love me!

Avoided the marriage bullet twice, love to be free, thought I needed a therapist, but I guess I'm normal according to this test:)
snyderfish on October 6, 2003 07:30 PM
I guess this describes me pretty close. I like things my way and I am pretty opinionated and not very tactful, I am honest to a fault and the more you back me into a corner the quicker it takes for me to explode but i can be on simmer for months before this happens usually. I Have only ever had 1 husband and will ever have one. there is no discusing things here, we are both stubborn together on that decision. I help as much as can be and love crafting but never seem to get anything finished....hope everyone is having fun.............
Heidi on November 3, 2003 05:40 PM

Mitch on November 7, 2003 02:48 PM

aurorin on November 24, 2003 08:16 PM
Oh dear.I don't change my format often, but not because I don't want to - just because I know I'd get addicted and let everything else slide until I got it right. Short attantion span? I did this quiz during work time. Typical.
beTh on December 9, 2003 04:44 PM
Yup, introverted is most definitely me. Loyal to the core as well. Doing a lot of tweaking now since the blog is pretty new, but might not when I'm satisfied. Hadn't thought of myself as having a short attention span, but I think it's getting shorter as the years pass.
Melon on December 10, 2003 07:51 PM
Almost everything is accurate. I do get bored very easily, I don't change my blog very often mostly because if I do then I will have to all the pages on my site and there is over 300. I have been known to go into rages if I think someone is threatening my lifestyle and lots of other similarities. I don't crave action and adventure too chicken.
Colleen on December 12, 2003 02:54 PM

I get bored with math easily even though I am fairly good at math. Other things bore me also. I like to study other people, but not how they react to each other. I like to see how they react to what I do. I am planning on joining the army when i finish high school and college. I want to do this because I know I won't be bored in the milatary. I can handle the structure too, eventhough i don't like it.

whatever on January 8, 2006 01:42 PM
This type fits me very well. I am constantly changing the design of my blog and I am very introverted.
Nancy on January 27, 2006 09:27 PM
ISTP seems somewhat on- check out my site peeps: http://georgebushisignorant.blogspot.com
CRT Law Mama on February 6, 2006 08:58 AM
The result is close to the results I got on other personality tests online. On a MBTI that I took, the personality type result was identical to this one. So I think this is very accurate for me.
Jenny L. on February 14, 2006 04:26 PM
This test hit the nail right on the head. I am every single thing it said I was. It is more than accurate.
Mikail on February 23, 2006 05:07 PM
Ask the questions one way you get ISTP, rephraseing the questions always changes the outcome to ISTJ yet everyone recently tells me the I should be an E. Comment when I first encountered MBIT, I think I am a real swinger based of course in total on the circumstances.
Chris Germann on April 18, 2006 05:30 AM
It's like looking in a mirror!
SD on May 14, 2006 06:40 AM
I don't change the template much, but I do want to have control over how the template and my posts should look. What I do hate is being boxed in by plans. I don't like changing plans at the last minute so I don't make plans, then I won't feel frustrated so much.
Claire on May 29, 2006 08:45 AM
I always thought on myself as a breaker of the mold but this one fit me to a T
NSearchOfMe on July 8, 2006 08:37 PM

Aura Serene on July 18, 2006 04:24 PM
ok
Alex on August 1, 2006 07:28 AM
This fits me perfectly. I change my layout constantly, I read the same blogs despite the fact that some are boring me, and I blog like a crack addict. Freaky.
Dan on August 18, 2006 06:05 PM
I have similar specialties when matched with this explanation :)
Osman on November 18, 2006 12:16 PM

'Because of your desire for action and independance, you will change the format of blogging or design frequently to keep it interesting and different.' so true, i do not need to put more or take away words, it's simply like that!!!
Karo from Brazil on January 9, 2009 07:44 AM
I'm so ISTP I couldn't be bothered changing anything, i get too bored!!!! Just get on, get off!
Michelle on March 11, 2009 05:48 PM
