You are an ESFJ!

As an ESFJ, you are Extraverted, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging.
This makes your primary focus on Extraverted Feeling with Introverted Sensing.

This is defined as a SJ personality, which is part of Carl Jung's Guardian (Security Seeking) type, and more specifically the Provider or Caregiver.

As a weblogger, your spirit of making others feel good will make people reciprocate and you will feel loved. Because you have a detail oriented spirit, you will be more likely to post frequently. You appreciate validation - espcially when someone agrees with you on something you say. Because of your sensativity, you must be careful not to be hurt when other webloggers are having contraversies - you want everyone to be happy.

i am an intp and i agree that esfj's are stupid beyond belief (my housemate is one). attention seeking, impulsive, emotionally unpredictable morons who seek to impose their dogmatic value framework on others. there is no sense in what they say.

I like my schedule. It works for me. I post EVERYDAY!!
Erin on November 16, 2005 04:37 PM
im an intp and i think esfj's are loving people. all you other intp losers need to open up and shut the fuck up. some of you intps might think im not an intp, but mark my word im hardcore. It is just that ive actually improved myself.
mikey on December 5, 2005 07:04 PM
I am an INTP. I think ESFJ's are well intentioned, but they make decisions based on subjective reasoning that isn't supported by fact. There are large numbers of ESFJ's in psychology. They are very dangerous as evaluators in custody battles because they put more weight on feeling (subjective and unsubstantiated) than fact (concrete, verifiable) which makes them susceptible to manipulators. Thus, despite their good intentions they are as likly to do great harm as good. Yes I think they are stupid - but so is my Shih Tzu and he is sweet and loveable anyway - I just wouldn't depend on him to guard the house - he would give an intruder a friendly guided tour :)
Brenda on December 27, 2005 07:44 PM
well i guess i'm an ESFJ, I have done so many tests and the results were the same. It fits on me as a supervisor
RQM on January 17, 2006 11:31 PM
I'm an INTP and while not all ESFJ's are idiots, when I meet someone who I perceive to be an idiot the chances are pretty good they're an ESFJ. INTP and ESFJ are identified as archrival countertypes. We just don't typically get along.
alan on April 17, 2006 02:29 PM
Wow. That was surprisingly accurate. I guess there is a reason I post too much, huh?
Jenny on June 18, 2006 01:02 PM
I got ESFJ--- What i always get.... the most interesting part is that i am actually half J and half P at the end. I am a guardian but i am also an entertainer... which suits me well to children and people who require a lot of patience.BTW---even ESFJ can rank genious level on an IQ test.
Corrinna on June 19, 2006 07:20 PM
Here is another INTP: I hate ESFJ's. They are stupid and mean, backstabbing bitches who want to gain popularity at any cost.
zeno on July 2, 2006 07:20 AM
I am an ESFJ. I had been in denial as I've always 'hated' the value of ESFJs for exactly the reasons of the INTPs above. I've married an INTP, and he appreciates me for all of the ESFJ strenghts: socialibility, warmpth, kindness, living in the moment. There are aspects that have driven him crazy too, but we talk about the conflicts and choose not to fight. ESFJs are not mindless cheerleaders. I think the INTPs above who do not value their polar opposite are not mature enough to accept things that they cannot understand from thier own value, as well, their lack of appreciation causes the ESFJ to react with the ESFJ base self - hyper, flighty, and controlling. If we value what the other brings to the table, we can enjoy wonderful, supportive and varied relationships and lives. To the INTPs with superiority complexes, I say, grow up.
susan on July 13, 2006 09:49 PM
I'm an INFP. ESFJs are my least favorite type. Manipulative, boring, over-emotional drama queens obsessed with their own popularity.
molly on August 2, 2006 09:16 PM
i am very helpful and discreate
laquetta on September 26, 2006 07:05 AM
It makes me wonder why the intp's are blogging on the esfj page, like myself. EAT THE SHADOW baby!!, as disgusting and bitter as it is. point.
paul davis on October 6, 2006 09:37 PM
Hahaha, I am an INFP, and I like ESFJs lots! Sometimes they may not understand everything I am saying but they will listen to me and sometimes even go along with my whacky ideas! Te-he-he! Love you all, don't let any pesimistic thoughts discourage you! :)
Lala on November 8, 2006 07:34 PM
wow im posting a bit late it seems. I am an INTP, and I would say a good portion of the INTPs that have a negative look on ESFJs were scorned by the aforementioned opposite sex. In that case, I have experienced that scorn. Despite those feelings of thinking the ESFJ is stupid, I still feel crazy for the person. Even though I am able to rationally sort out all the things that went wrong and why and that they will never be again. Yet I still can't get the person out of my head, every day, and every second. Oh well. For those INTP-ESFJ relationships that have worked, congrats, because that is amazing.
Shopkeep on February 6, 2007 01:42 AM
I'm an INTP... One more on this page, lol. I had an ESFJ friend before. Yes they develop no talents but want popularity... I gave up the friendship because of his too manipulative ways... but I'm here on a page where there's almost ONLY INTPs talking about ESFJs... This makes me think that a majority of INTPs had had relationship with at leat one ESFJ... There's may be an attraction between these 2 types though INTPs speeches look very disapproving for ESFJs. I recently found the following site saying that INTPs are statistically attracted by EFJs... let's think about this theory, guyz http://www.geocities.com/lifexplore/intp.htm
Nio on February 27, 2007 08:49 AM
man shawty imma ESFJ...which mean im Warm-hearted, popular, and conscientious. Tend to put the needs of others over their own needs. Feel strong sense of responsibility and duty. Value traditions and security. Interested in serving others. Need positive reinforcement to feel good about themselves. Well-developed sense of space and function. and i think that fits me well and if yall dont agree then screw yall!!!!! cause imma be me regardles....love it...ha
Sabria"SEE_BREEZE...BREEZY...QUEEN TINK!!" on March 7, 2007 12:11 PM
I'm an INTJ, but my best friend is an ESFJ. She annoys the hell out of me, in that she is extremely manipulative, narrow-minded, constantly guilt-tripping people, and the epitome of conformity. However, for some reason the friendship works. I suppose because ESFJs are by nature, "people"/representatives of the common public, and NTs (introverted ones in particular) need to be reminded that a common exists, at times. My friend is conflict avoidant to the point of total idiocy, however, i scorn this trait with my impartiality, and never let a conflict alone until the truth of it is revealed. She knows that she is shallow, and actually says "thats good" when i tell her so. I know that I am weird, and also see it as a good thing. I would rather shoot myself than be an ESFJ, but an ESFJ would probably feel the same about being an INTJ. It seems there is an equal sense of disregard for one another's worlds, and because of this, the two can relate on a guileless level.
laura on July 5, 2007 10:22 AM
I'm an INTP, and God I love you other INTPs. INTPs realise above every other type that being unnecessarily negative and cruel is a lot of fun. If other INTPs are like me in that they have a general dislike for the entire crappy planet, and have just found out what their type is, the first question they ask is, who is the complete opposite to me? Logically whoever it is must be someone they dislike and so they seek them out just to be nasty to them. I love it. You INTPs out there who are trying to be nice and understanding about everyone, don't you see the unique value in being a complete dick to everyone on the internet especially these Antipodean ESFJs. So just to follow the ranks of the fun loving INTPS out there I'm going to end by saying that ESFJs are all little pussy babies leading shallow existences and molesting small children and animals. Ahh, that's much better, toodles.
Ivan Nathan Tania Peterson on September 14, 2007 05:10 AM
INTJ here. The ESFJs I know tend to seem manipulative and histrionic to me. I sometimes feel sorry for them: they don't seem to have any sense of self to speak of. They don't seem to me to have an independent, thoughtful moral center. At the same time, I know I can learn a lot by watching them operate in the world - that extraordinary persona they present to the world is optimized for charming and influencing many, many people. Biggest problem I have with ESFJs -- they seem to be nearly incapable of recognizing and sticking to appropriate emotional boundaries. "Not your business" is a hard lesson for an ESFJ to learn, it appears. And if that's combined with some form of power over other people -- well, suffice to say that I'd rather cut off my own hand than have an ESFJ in a position of authority over me. And I'd think very carefully before asking an ESFJ to manage a team that included NTs. Heaven help the poor INTP or INTJ who's stuck with an ESFJ parent.
serendipity on December 11, 2007 01:42 PM
Yet another INTP for this page - and believe me I am the ultimate INTP. I do have to tell you that there is a very well-documented attraction between the INTP and ESFJ and I'm guessing most of the negative INTPs above have experienced and been hurt by such an attraction. The bad qualities they're describing about the ESFJ (such as the tendency to be manipulative and attention-seeking or not to think very deeply on certain issues) are only accurate for those that aren't brought up with a strong external moral system. I happen to know one that has been well-raised and he is one of the kindest and most caring individuals I've ever come across. Furthermore, the ESFJ's dislike for abstract or intellectual discussion doesn't mean that they're stupid - it just means they like to focus more on people which isn't at all a bad thing - in fact I think most INTPs have a great deal to learn from them. Frankly, I'm slightly embarrassed on behalf of my type! My apologies to ESFJs.
hard-core INTP on November 9, 2008 03:52 PM
ESFJs are my least favorite type. They are closed-minded, group-orientated, and help people only for the purpose of being accepted. Lack of brains, and manipulative people, I think they are disgusting. They are very demanding, and yes, I have had many experiences with ESFJs (one who was a parent, a teacher, a boss, and many others). Just to let you know, INFJ here.
Ashitaria on June 9, 2010 06:16 PM
My hubby is ISFP and I'd love to marry an introvert and feeling type and wish if my hubby could be ISFJ!
Cecilia Love on July 13, 2010 02:41 AM
I am slightly E Moderately S Very expressed F and Distinctly J. I have found that there is more hate toward my type than any other and I think it is because we aren't understood. I stopped thinking about popularity somewhere sophomore year in high school. I dress how I want regardless of what is in and I have a strong moral and ethical compass so there is actually a lot I wouldn't do to be popular. I can be moody and emotional but so can anyone on a given day. I wish stereotypes would all go away. People would be happier. And I have a Masters in Library science so I wouldn't say I am an idiot. I don't consider myself to be overly judgmental of others, I am harder on myself than anyone. I am actually not the life of the party and my fun is responsible fun. I hate how a lot of the discriptions of this type make us sound like party animals. I enjoy going out with friends but I also enjoy reading books. I admire a lot about INTP types, it is a shame it isn't often reciprocated.
